EmojiKite is a static website. There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no form that sends your data to us. The fancy-text generator, the symbol identifier, the character counter and every other tool run in your own browser.
What you type or paste
Text you type or paste into a tool is processed on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. The symbol identifier downloads public name tables from this site (for example the list of names for one Unicode block); it asks for the table, not for your text, so your text does not travel with the request.
What is stored on your device
A few small entries are kept in your browser’s local storage on that device, only when you use the feature they belong to: p04:recent (the last 40 symbols you copied), p04:favs (symbols you starred, up to 300), p04:tray (the line of symbols you are collecting), p04:skinTone (your chosen emoji skin tone) and p04:theme (light or dark, if you switched it).
What you type into the fancy-text and nickname generators is kept only in session storage (p04:fancyInput, p04:nickInput), so it survives a page reload but is deleted when you close the tab. The character counter, the identifier and the invisible-character tester store nothing.
None of these entries is ever sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
Analytics
We count visits with Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-NLR1K7ZSG6), using Google Consent Mode. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stores nothing on your device until you agree. Elsewhere it runs by default and you can switch it off at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer or the button at the end of this page.
Analytics tells us which pages are visited, from which country and on which kind of device. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not combine it with other data. Google processes this data as our processor; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Advertising
There is no advertising on EmojiKite at the moment. If we add it, it will be served by Google AdSense. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland consent will be collected through Google’s certified consent tool, and this page will be updated before any advertising starts.
Hosting and fonts
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes the technical data that any web request contains (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Fonts are served from this site, not from a font service, so loading a page does not tell a font provider about your visit.
Children
EmojiKite is a general-audience site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because EmojiKite holds no personal data about you beyond what is described above, most requests can be met by clearing your browser’s site data. For anything else, write to us.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is the operator of emojikite.com, based in Poland. Privacy requests: contact@emojikite.com.
